The dual-tapered HMX has a responsive IM7 graphite blank strengthened by cross-scrim graphite running tip to butt. The cross-scrim graphite fibers run perpendicular to the action fibers to add exceptional crush-proof resistance. This also improves the strength and balance in the butt section, making the HMX series ideal for situations where quick reflex hook sets and lightweight are important. The IM7 graphite material with cross-scrim construction provides exceptional sensitivity and responsiveness. The SS304 hard chromium plated stainless steel guides are exceptionally hard reducing guide weight by up to 55% and are 20 times tougher than conventional guides.
